Today I am giving you 12 activity cards to help organize you for the holiday season! I always have every intention of adding more magic to December for my kids, but time does get away from me! With these cards, you can pick and choose if you want to do all 12 or just a few, it is completely up to you. Each activity is paired with a children's book with some being more religious based. If an activity isn't exactly what you are looking for, there is an editable file to personalize more to you and your family.
You can print them and wrap the cards up for your kid's to open each day, punch a hole in the card, string them on ribbon and hang them on the tree or keep them and bring them out for a spontaneous surprise activity. The fun to be had is limitless! Happy memory making!!!

Need a fun get together for a small group of friends or family? If you like bourbon, like my husband does, this idea was a hit! Each plastic shot glass was filled with a small amount of bourbon, by the end of your tasting it equated to one regular sized drink. It was fun to hear all the different comments about each variety and what was favored as a group! Having a bottled water and straw on hand, helps to dilute the bourbon if necessary. Food items like chocolate, nuts, dried fruit, pretzels etc. were used for a palate cleanser in between. I found the tasting notes and bourbon details on different websites. For party favors, I found Dove had bourbon vanilla chocolate bars! Lots of fun to be had for sure!

Who doesn't love this time of year? Halloween is a family favorite of ours so we will be counting down each day! This is a super easy project, just print the free 5 buy 7 Halloween countdown and slide it into a picture frame. Using a dry erase marker makes it so simple to change the numbers! You have a choice of pink or orange printable to match your decor. Happy Halloween!

Little touches like the farmhouse lights (which have the puck light trick from @nestingwithgrace), the flower basket on the door, the window box, pillows and curtains made it seem so magical. But the MOST magical element of all were these signs from Design and Unwind on Etsy. After seeing Melissa's playhouse from @amagicalmess, I worked with Jenny @designandunwind to create our own Disneyland inspired signs to adorn our whimsical playhouse.
Throw in the comfiest hammock chair and two Adirondack chairs and my children can't wait to be outside!
Pure Magic!!!

Can I tell you that we have already created so many memories with this little beauty? My kiddos literally beg to roll it out and have snow cones! Today, I am sharing with you how you can create your own!
First things first, we wanted to keep it neutral, so we went with an outdoor primer/paint in plain white. Now it can be decorated for any season and event and show off all of its cuteness! Our plans were loosely based off this DIY tutorial. https://myoutdoorplans.com/furniture/lemonade-stand-plans/
You can see by comparing, that we made the stand taller so adults wouldn't be hunched over. We would much rather have it be something that our kids could grow into instead of out of. All important things to consider before you begin. :)
A quick trip to our local Home Depot and we were ready to get started. This project took us about one week to complete, working during the evenings. The materials listed on the link above helped guide our shopping list, but we did opt for a wood roof instead of the galvanized metal.
After it was completed, we filled in nail holes sanded it down. It then received two coats of the primer/paint with our spray gun. Finishing touches included adding little hooks to be able to add string lights or garland. Now our stand is ready for all sorts of adventures!
Here is the link to our Snow Cone machine that we absolutely LOVE! It truly is like snow!
Don't forget we also have the perfect invitations for your next snow cone gathering!

Are you hosting for the Fourth and need something quick to add some more magic to your party? Or are you headed somewhere and want to bring some cuteness with you? We have the perfect solution! Download our free sparkler sleeves to take your sparklers to the next level! All you will need is a paper cutter or an exacto knife once you have printed the PDF file. Trim around each holder and then be sure to cut on the black lines but do not go all the way across. This creates the sleeve for your sparklers to slide into.
Wishing you a SPARKLING 4th of July!

As I have been prepping for my own child's preschool graduation party, it has brought on ALL the feelings! I was thinking about the 2020 graduates of all ages and how this momentous occasion will look so different this year. I also kept circling back to the teacher's in all of this as well...we like to celebrate milestones and most importantly we like to have closure too! End of year celebrations don't have to be gone forever....teachers pivot and adapt better than any other professionals I know! So put on the music, break out the balloons and streamers and host a virtual end of the school year party! I have also provided a list of easy to play virtual party games to act as a springboard to get your party started!
